The Gold Standard

The CCAA is Canada’s gold standard provider of training, upskilling, certification and accreditation programs to the industry. It offers 29 nationally recognized competency standards – with 3 more coming soon – and certifications for aviation and aerospace occupations that are transportable from region to region.

The CCAA offers an extensive suite of world-class online training and live, instructor-led virtual workshops. We are continuously updating our programs and developing new training workshops and online courses to meet industry demands and develop workers’ skills while they remain in the workforce.

CCAA training is fully aligned with our industry-leading National Occupational Standards and provides participants with specific and in-depth industry knowledge that range from Avionics to Quality Auditing, Safety Management System, Human Factors and many others.

AME Courses

The Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA) is pleased to offer a new pathway towards Transport Canada AME licensing. Participants can now complete CCAA online basic theory training, which in conjunction with the required practical training and experience hours affords the user the right to take the Transport Canada technical and regulatory exams. For more information on Transport Canada aircraft maintenance engineer licenses please visit the Transport Canada website here.

CCAA online basic theory training is fully asynchronous and available 24/7, allowing participants to complete courses at their own pace and at times convenient to them. We currently offer courses to support maintenance ("M" rating) or structures ("S" rating).

Wage Subsidies

Student Work Placement Program

The Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) supports partnerships between employers and post-secondary education institutions, by creating more work-integrated learning placements for students enrolled in post-secondary studies across Canada.

This program is funded by the Federal Government (Employment and Social Development Canada, ESDC) and delivered by the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace, one of 9 delivery partner organizations.
